Comix Revolution

Comix Revolution is a specialty bookstore with a focus on comic books and graphic novels. We offer a wide variety of graphic fiction as well as manga, posters, books and plush. We support local as well as national artists who contribute to this vibrant artform.

Comix Revolution opened in December 2000 at 606 Davis Street. We’ve been in continuous operation under the same ownership since. Evanston has a rich history of comic book artists ranging from Jessica Abel and Lynda Barry to Keiler Roberts and Lucy Knisley. Jim Mortensen graduated from Northwestern University in 1994, loved his time in Evanston and felt he could add to the cultural scene.
